Entry P, a German, who had appeared at an earlier meeting with a letter of support from the Earl of Exeter, appeared again. He was given an easy examination as a test, but proved to be extremely unlearned and inexperienced - he did not know the definition of a disease, nor the various species of disease; he named 5 types of disease the Coll had never heard of. It was decided to overlook his previous offences, but he was forbidden to practise in future: moreover a letter explaining the matter should be sent to the Earl.
