Censorial hearings

19 Dec 1622
Entry T, BA Cantab and MD Padua, was warned that he was in danger of punishment for illicit practice. He replied 'that he had copied the example of others: surely many lived for a long time in the City before they sought the grace of the College'. He denied making a profit and said that he practised on few but his friends. He would say in 3 months whether he would leave the City and asked for L till then.
Action taken 3 months' licence was refused.
