Romano-British pottery from the chamber of the long barrow, Randwick I (SO 82500690), (fn. 1) is in Gloucester City Museum.
(1) Cross-ridge Dyke, in Randwick Wood, crossing the parish boundary into Standish (SO 82690710– 82780693), 700 ft. above O.D., spans the top of a narrow ridge which projects S.W. from the main Cotswold escarpment. It is 600 ft. long with no original gap. The bank averages 12 ft. in width and 2½ ft. in height; the ditch, uphill on the E., is 24 ft. wide and a further 2½ ft. deep.
