Demise by John Saxffen, to William Brown and Joan his wife, for their lives, of all his lands and meadows in Denehayse, in the parish of Clyst Honyton, which Margery Brown now holds; with letter of attorney authorising Richard Wyndbowe and Richard Westcoute to deliver seisin of the premises. Demise by Margaret Gryme of the Seet, widow, to Rauf Aisshton of Ludlowe, milward, for twenty-one years, of her 'cornmille' or 'grystmylle' called 'the Seet Mylle,' with the 'fishwerk' belonging thereto, on the river of Temede 'fast by the Weeping Cros of Ludlowe.' 26 October, 10 Henry VII. Release by Stephen, son of John de Treiagu, knight, to John de Nauntian, Robert Berson, John Melyor, and Henry Maynard, of all his right in all his lands and tenements of Tredynec and Woyn by Lancolleth, which the grantees had of the grant of the said John de Treiagu, knight. Saturday before St. Luke the evangelist, 3 Edward III. Seal.

[Surrey.] A. 6112. Writ to the wardens of the temporalities of the bishopric of Winchester, which are in the king's hand, for the payment of a yearly rent of 12 marks to the prior of Bermondsey, from the bishop of Winchester's manor of Suthwerke. Westminster, 16 May, 17 Edward II.
Also, Acquittance by the prior of Bermondsey to the wardens of the bishopric of Winchester, for 4l., part of a yearly rent of 8l. due from the bishops of Winchester for certain mills &c. in Southwerke. Mondny before St. Barnabas, 17 Edward [II].
Also, Extract from the account of the wardens of the temporalities of the bishopric of Winchester for 17 Edward [II], showing the payment of 4l. to the prior of Bermondesey for a rent due to him in Suthwerke.
Also, Grant by Richard, bishop of Winchester, acknowledging that he has yearly paid to the monks of Bermondsey, 8l. for houses &c. in the monastery of St. Saviour's, Bermondsey, lying in the parish of St. Margaret Suthwerke, and which he has given to his church of Winchester and his successors for ever. Witnesses:—Herbert of Canterbury, and Roger of Winchester, archdeacons, and others (named).
Also, Acknowledgment by Henry, bishop of Winchester, that he holds certain lands from the monks of Bermondsey at a rent of 40s. Witnesses: —Richard de Menys, Master Jordan Wacius, archdeacon of Durham, and others (named). Copies on one skin.
Endorsed: 'viijli payd yearelye to Bardmonseye Abbaye out of the Busshop of Winchester lande in Suthwerke.'

Conveyance by John att Stanes of Pertenay, William Borell of the same, and William Kelpyn of Sansthorp, to Thomas Blesseby of Aswardby, and Thomas Drant of the same, of all the lands and tenements &c. in Aswardby and Haryngton, which they lately had of the grant of Thomas Cooke, rector of the church of Langton by Pertenay, John de Askeby, parson of the church of Castelcarleton, and Robert Bradnam of Brynhill. Grant by Ralph de Crophille, parson of the church of Cotyngham, Richard de Bytham, parson of two parts of the church of Repyngale, John Lepere, parson of the third part of the same church, and Alan de Kyrkeby, chaplain of the chantry of St. Anne of Repyngale, to John Goderyk of Rokyngham, and Eleanor his wife, in tail, of the manors of Ryngesdon and Lesyngham, with the advowson of the church of Lesyngham, with remainder in tail, to William son of the said John Goderyk, and in fee to Robert, William's brother. Grant by William de Derisbur', to Hugh, his brother, of all the land which William de Mora held of the grantor in Derisburi, and all the grantor's new assart which extends from the hedge of the brethren of the Grange of Acton to the end of the assart (assarti stember), as the moor divides; with agistment for sixty bogs, to be reduced in number in case of failure of mast (pro defectu pessone); at a yearly rent of 1 lb. of pepper or 7d. to be paid on the feast of the nativity of the Virgin at Halton Market, and one hog. Grant by Richard Newman, son and heir of Thomas Newman, late of Skernyng, to Richard Hoo, Edmund Bedingfeld, knight, Christopher Jeundy, esquire, Thomas Bury, Robert Kirkby and John Gigges, to the use of the said Richard Hoo, of land in Skernyng lying in Longmadowes and adjoining land of the manor of Skernynghall. 31 May, 19 Henry VIII. Chesh. A. 6118. 'Endenture of dome,' being the award by John of Caryngton, knight, in a cause between Edward the Masscy of Altryncham, and James of Sale, and Margery his wife, relative to certain land in Altryncham called 'Bradley hey' concerning which the said Edward has brought an assize of novel disseisin against the said James and Margery in the king's court at Chester; viz. James is to make no defence against Edward in the said assize, and is to deliver to him a release made by Alice Pycart to Thomas Duncalf, Margery's grandfather, of part of a messuage and land in Altryncham, and Edward is to pay to James 7 marks, and release to him all costs recovered by Edward in the said court, for the said matter.

Release by Henry de Bechinton and Alice his wife, to Henry le Norreys and Margery his wife, of all their right in a third part of the town of Derisburi in Haltonesire; for which release the said grantees have given to the releasors and to Isabella de Derisburi, relict of Alan de Lascelis, all their lands in the towns of Pulton in Waley, Lisecair and Secumbe. Witnesses:—Sirs Patrick de Hasilwalle and Roger de Dunvile, knights, and others (named).
