Sept. 3.
Carlisle.
To the chancellor of Ireland and the treasurer and chamberlains of the exchequer of Dublin. Order to allow to the brethren of the order of Preachers in Ireland, to wit, of the convents of Dyvelyn, Droghda, Cork, Waterford, and Lymeryk, the alms that the late king used to give them yearly, enjoining the recipients to divide the alms amongst the convents of the said places as in the time of the late king. The like in favour of the Friars Minors of Ireland, to wit, of the convents of Dyvelyn, Droghda, Cork, Waterford, Lymeryk, and Atthelon. By p.s.

Clipstone.
To John de Kyrkeby, king's clerk. Order to repair at once to the exchequer at Westminster to execute the office of remembrancer of the same, as he did in the time of the late king. By p.s.

York.
To Eustace de Cotesbache, the king's chamberlain of Scotland. Order to allow 10 marks daily to John de Brittannia, earl of Richemund, the king's lieutenant and keeper in Scotland, from Michaelmas next until the Purification following, for the sustentation of 60 men-at-arms of the said John's household, deducting therefrom 400 marks delivered to him from the king's wardrobe in part payment. Nottingham.
To the sheriff of Leicester. Order to cause a coroner to be elected for that county in place of Thomas de Meynhill, lately elected, who has put all his lands in that county out of his hands, whereby he is incapacitated from holding the said office.

Clipstone.
To Payn Tibotot, justice of the Forest beyond Trent, or such as shall supply his place in the forest of Whicchewode. Order to deliver to Nicholas Makerel, king's clerk, as a gift, two oaks fit for timber, from the king's wood of Cornbiri within the bounds of the said forest. By K.

To Walter de Pederton, justice of West Wales (Westwall'). Order to allow William de Hasting', eldest son of John de Hasting', to receive the castle of Kilgarran in West Wales, held in chief, the king having given permission to the said John to grant the same to him. By K.
