Robert de Insula was engaged in the king's service on Thursday the octave of Michaelmas last, so that he could not appear in the suit before the justices of the Bench between him and Geoffrey de Say for the unjust detinue of Robert's cattle; wherefore the justices are ordered not to put him in default.
