Westminster.
To John de Scotherskelf escheator in Yorkshire. Order not to meddle further with the manor of Kirkeby upon Querf and certain lands in Grymmeston and Milford taken into the king's hand by the death of Ralph de Neville, delivering up any issues thereof taken; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that at his death the said Ralph held the premises for his life of the grant of Robert de Neville of Horneby the elder, with remainder to Robert de Neville of Horneby (yet living) son of the said Robert the elder and to his heirs, and that the same are held of others than the king.

To John de Scotherskelf escheator in Yorkshire, Northumberland and Cumberland. Order to deliver in dower to Alice who was wife of Ralph de Neville knight tenant in chief, of whom the king has taken an oath that she will not marry without his licence, the manors of Crakhall, Raskelf, Carleton, Welle and Neubiggyng, the sheepcote called Mildperokote and wood of Cauncewyth, a moiety of her said husband's lands in Coverdale, a third part of the pasture of Wondslaghdale upon the soil of the earl of Rychemund, and 40l. 6s. 8d. of rent to be taken of the manor of Sutton in Galtrys by the hands of the 'husband' thereof in Yorkshire, 20l. of rent issuing from the manor of Corbrigge co. Northumberland, and 51l. 7s. 0½d. of rent to be taken of the cornage in Cumberland, which with the assent of John de Neville, son and heir of the said Ralph, the king has assigned her of the lands of her said husband taken into the king's hand by his death.
