Westminster.
To the mayor of the city of London. Order that John Cory clerk be not put in default etc. because of his absence on Monday and Tuesday after the Conception last in a cause between the said John and the abbot of St. Albans concerning naam taken in the freehold of the said John in the parish of St. Benet by Paules wharf London and unlawfully detained it is said; as he was on those days on the king's service by order of the king.
