Winchester.
To the sheriff of Southampton. Order to pay to Hugh de Berewyk, whom the king lately appointed with Robert Parvyng, Master John de Thoresby and John de Stouford to be justices to hear and determine divers trespasses and excesses in co. Southampton, 5s. a day his wages, to wit from 2 January last when the justices began their session at Winchester castle, to the 16th day of that month, inclusive, of the issues of the fines and amercements adjudicated before the justices in that county.

To Hugh de Courteneye, earl of Devon, and the sheriff of Devon, appointed to enquire concerning goods and merchandise which were in a ship called 'Tarite' which touched at the port of Dertemouth and was broken there, it is said, and to arrest those goods and merchandise and keep them safely. Order to deliver the said goods and merchandise to William de Newenham and Hugh de Berewyk, whom the king has appointed to take and keep them. By the keeper and C.
To the mayor and bailiffs of Dertemuth. Like order to deliver all the goods and merchandise in the said ship, arrested by them by virtue of the king's order, to the said William and Hugh. By the keeper and C.
The like to the bailiffs of Falemuth.
The like to the sheriff of Cornwall to deliver to William and Hugh the goods and merchandise of a certain ship called 'Tarite,' which touched at the port of Falemouth. By the keeper and C.
