To William Talemache, escheator in cos. Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Essex and Hertford. Like order to cause the same William de Ros and Margery his wife to have seisin of the rent of 8l. 18s. 0¼d. of the manor of Welles, and to cause the manor of Bokelond, the rent of the manor of Plessy, the tenements in Bokelond which Katherine de Bokelond holds for life and those which Matilda de Bokelond and Ellen her sister hold there for life, a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted and the manor of Brendbradefeld to be assigned to them upon the death of the tenants aforesaid.
Mandate to William Pycot, escheator in cos. Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Middlesex to cause the manors of Bourn and Heyhyngton and the wood to be assigned to William and Margery after the death of Elizabeth.

Order to cause the manors of Kyngeston and Sibbeton and all the tenements in Kyngeston while Alice Upheved holds for life to be assigned to John de Tibetot and Margaret his wife, after the death of Elizabeth, late the wife of Giles de Badlesmere, and the said Alice, as with the assent of William de Ros and Margery his wife, the earl of Oxford and Matilda his wife and the earl of Northampton and Elizabeth his wife, the king assigned to John and Margaret the following lands of those which belonged to Giles and of those which Elizabeth his wife holds in dower to wit: the manor of Kyngeston, co. Kent, extended at 14l. 4s. 0¼d. yearly; the manor of Sibbeton, co. Kent, extended at 17l. 23d. yearly; the manor of Barewe, co. Suffolk, extended at 32l. 19s. 3¾d. yearly; the manor of Mardeleye, co. Hertford, extended at 10l. 5s. 1¼d. yearly; and of lands held for life, after the death of the tenants, all the tenements which Alice Upheved holds for life in Kyngeston, co. Kent, extended at 20d. yearly; all the tenements in Barewe, co. Suffolk, which Thomas Ordrich, chaplain, holds for life, extended at 71s. yearly; all the tenements in that town which Margaret Breton holds for life, extended at 33s. 4d. yearly; all the tenements in that town which Thomas Passelewe holds for life, extended at 5s. yearly; the manor of Orcheston, co. Wilts, which Hugh de Audele, earl of Gloucester, holds for life, extended at 13l. 11s. 10d. yearly; a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, co. Essex, which the said earl and Margaret his wife hold for their lives, extended at 30l. 3s. 8¼d. yearly; the manor of Little Stanbrigg, co. Essex, which Thomas de Verdon holds for life, extended at 32l. 13s. 9d. yearly; all the tenements in Overton, co. Rutland, which Robert de Sussex holds for life, extended at 100s. yearly; and a yearly rent of 40s. in Mardeleye, co. Hertford, which Roger de Louthe holds for life, to wit the manors of Kyngeston, Sibbeton, Barewe and Mardeleye and the said tenements held for life after the death of the present tenants; the king has also assigned to John and Margaret 17¾d. rent issuing from the manor of Plessy, co. Hertford, and the manor of Lyndessele, co. Essex, except 52s. 8½d. rent which the earl of Northampton and Elizabeth his wife and her heirs receive yearly of that manor, assigned to the earl and Elizabeth as her purparty of the said inheritance, except the lands assigned in dower to Elizabeth, late the wife of Giles and a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, to the value of 52s. 8½d. aforesaid, which said manor Jacounia de Merk, deceased, lately held for life.

Order to cause John de Veer earl of Oxford and Matilda his wife, sister and co-heir of Giles de Badlesmere, to have seisin of the manor of Welles and to cause a rent of 26s. 10d. issuing from the manor of Plessy and a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted to be assigned to them after the death of the tenants, as with the assent of William de Ros and Margery his wife, the earl of Northampton and Elizabeth his wife and John de Tibetot and Margaret his wife, the king assigned to the earl of Oxford and Matilda the following lands of those which belonged to Giles and of those which Elizabeth, late his wife, holds in dower with reversion to the earls and others, to wit: the manor of Ryglyngweld, co. Kent, extended at 20l. 10s. 3d. yearly; divers tenements in Dover and Cherleton in co. Kent, extended at 6l. 0s. 8d. yearly; the manor of Laghton except the wood called 'Waldern' therein, co. Sussex, extended at 61l. 15s. yearly; and 26s. 10d. yearly rent issuing from the manor of Plessy, co. Hertford; the king has also assigned to the earl and Matilda of the lands held for life of that inheritance with reversion to the heirs, the following lands to wit: the manor of Westden, co. Sussex, which Andrew de Medsted holds for life, extended at 24l. 10s. 4¼d. yearly; a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, co. Essex, which Hugh de Audele, earl of Gloucester and Margaret his wife, hold for their lives, extended at 30l. 3s. 8¼d. yearly, to be delivered to them after the death of the tenants; the king has also assigned to the earl and Matilda, divers tenements in Milton and Paston, co. Northampton, which William Casse, deceased, held for life or for a term, and which is now in the king's hand, and the manor of Welles, co. Hertford, except 8l. 18s. 0¼d. rent which William de Ros and Margery, and 8s. 3¼d. rent which the earl of Northampton and Elizabeth and her heirs receive yearly of the said manor, until the reversion of those lands to William, Margery, the earl and Elizabeth, and except the fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, to the value to wit of 8l. 18s. 0¼d. rent aforesaid, which said manor of Welles, William Germyn and Ellen his wife lately held for Ellen's life of the said inheritance after the death of Giles and which is now in the king's hand and extended at 23l. 3s. 8¼d. yearly.

Kent, extended at 65l. 14s. 6d. yearly; the manor of Drayton, co. Sussex, extended at 13l. 17s. 2d. yearly; two parts of the manor of Fynmere, co. Oxford, extended at 16l. 14s. 7¼d. yearly; an inn in Algate, London, with shops, extended at 63s. 8d. yearly; and the manor of Plessy, co. Hertford, except 30s. 7d. rent, extended at 13l. 17s. 4d. yearly; the king has also assigned to them the following lands of those held for life, with reversion to the heirs on the death of the tenants, to wit: the manor of Langeport with Romeneye and its other appurtenances in co. Kent, which John le fitz Bernard holds for life of that inheritance, extended at 31l. 10s. 8½d. yearly; a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, co. Essex, which Hugh de Audele, earl of Gloucester and Margaret his wife, hold for their lives, extended at 30l. 3s. 8¼d. yearly, after the death of the tenants; the king has also assigned to the earl and Elizabeth a third part of the manor of Fynmere, co. Oxford, which Ellen de Broke lately held in dower, which is now in the king's hand and is extended at 10l. 16s. 0¼d. yearly; the king has further assigned to them 8s. 3¼d. rent of the manor of Welles, co. Hertford, and 52s. 8½d. rent of the manor of Leyndessele, co. Essex, to be received yearly until the reversion of the lands assigned to them of the said inheritance shall fall in, except the lands assigned in dower to Elizabeth late the wife of Giles, and a fourth part of the manor of Thaxsted, to the value of the said rents, which manor of Welles, William Germyn and Elena his wife held for the life of Ellen, and Jaconia de Merk, deceased, held the manor of Lyndessele for life, both manors being now in the king's hand.

Memorandum that the earl of Oxford and Matilda his wife are bound to pay to William de Ros and Margery his wife and to Margery's heirs, 91l. 10s. within a month after the death of Elizabeth, late the wife of Giles, for gross wood etc. as fully appears in the Calendar.
Also that John de Tibetot and Margaret his wife are bound to pay to the same William and Margery and to Margery's heirs 15l. 10s. for gross wood within a month after Elizabeth's death.
