To the sheriff of Somerset. Order to cause John de Preston to have seisin of 2 messuages, 12½ acres of land and 1 acre of meadow in Preston Plokenet, which John son of John Edward of Preston Plokenet held, who was outlawed for felony, it is said, as the king has learned by inquisition taken by the sheriff that those tenements have been in the king's hand for a year and a day, that John son of John held them of the said John de Preston, and that Thomas Cary, escheator in that county, had the year, day and waste thereof, and ought to answer therefor to the king.
