To the sheriff of Cumberland. Order to cause three verderers for the forest of Inglewode to be elected in place of Thomas de Laton, Adam de Crofton and Alan de Kirkeby, deceased.
Jan. 20.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Devon. Order to cause a coroner for that county to be elected in place of Adam de Fenton, who is insufficiently qualified.

Westminster.
To Peter de Boxstede, escheator in co. Essex. Order not to intermeddle further with certain tenements called the manors of Knepesho and of Bryche and with a marsh in Burnham, restoring the issues thereof to Isabel late the wife of John Baynard, as the king has learned by inquisition taken by the escheator that John at his death held the premises for life jointly with Isabel of the gift of Thomas le Rowe, chaplain, and of Lucy Shaldeford, for themselves and John's heirs, and that they are held of others than the king by divers services.
To the same. Order to assign dower to Isabel late the wife of John Baynard of the lands which belonged to her husband at his death, upon her taking oath that she will not marry without the king's licence, as the king has learned by inquisition taken by the escheator that John held in his demesne as of fee in that county, a messuage, 80 acres of land, 3 acres of meadow, 7 acres of pasture, 20 acres of wood and 6s. rent in Little Reynes, in chief, by the service of a fourth part of a knight's fee.

To the sheriff of Lincoln. Order to cause 500 quarters of good and clean wheat to be bought and purveyed without delay in places where he shall see fit and to be taken to the port of Boston so that it be there before the quinzaine of the Purification next or on that day at latest, to be delivered to the attorney of Henry earl of Lancaster by indenture, to have of the king's gift, so that the attorney may be able to take the wheat to Gascony for the maintenance of the earl and of the king's other lieges there.
