John Mannyng of Becclys, cousin and heir of John Rekynghale bishop of Cicestre, to John Fitz John of Wortham and to the heirs of his body. Charter of demise, according to the will of John Fitz John deceased, of all lands, rents and services in Rekynghale Superior, Rekynghale Inferior, Redgrave, Burgate, Wortham, Walsham or elsewhere in Suffolk sometime of John Fitz John of Upper Rekynghale esquire, which the said bishop, John duke of Bedford, John Berdewell, Thomas Hethe esquires and Hugh Wyrlyngton clerk had by feoffment of John Fitz John of Rekynghale now deceased, and John Berdewell, Thomas Hethe and Hugh Wyrlyngton having died, the duke made a release thereof to the said bishop, and he died, and after his death the same descended to the now grantor; and appointment of Thomas Hervy the younger and John Danyell as attorneys to deliver seisin. Witnesses: Thomas Hervy the elder, William Herfrey, John Yebeswych, Henry Herman, William Brame. Dated Rekynghale Superior, 1 June, 2 Edward IV.
