Westminster.
Geoffrey Beauchamp 'yoman,' Thomas Kenegy 'stacioner,' Richard Haydyff 'draper' and Richard Wright 'goldsmyth,' all of London, to Alice countess of Salisbury. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. in the city of London.
Condition, that the said Geoffrey shall appear in person in chancery on the morrow of All Souls next to answer touching what shall be laid against him on behalf of the countess.

William Plompton of Plompton and George Darell of Sesay, both co. York knights, to Alice countess of Salisbury, late the wife of Richard earl of Salisbury. Bond in 1,000l. payable at Easter day next. Dated 31 May, 2 Edward IV.
Condition, that the said William shall abide and obey the award of the countess, George bishop of Exeter the chancellor, Richard earl of Warwick and John Nevill lord Mountagu her sons, or of the said Alice and two or one of them, touching all actions, suits, plaints, trespasses, debates, appeals and demands between the countess and himself, so that it be made in writing under their seals, and delivered to him or to the abbot or prior of St. Mary York before Easter day next.

Thomas de Sancto Mauro knight, lord of Northmolton co. Devon, to John Wenlok abbot of Lilleshull co. Salop and parson of Northmolton and the convent and to their successors. Quitclaim of a wood called the 'Persounes wode' within his park called the 'West park' in 'Northmolton' and two messuages there of old time belonging to the rectory, one wherein John Okewill sometime dwelt, the other between a tenement late of David Lye on the east and a garden of the abbot on the west, with free ingress and egress to the said wood as fully as any predecessor of the parson's had or ought to have had; reciting a dispute between the parties concerning the title and possession of the premises, and that by examination of divers men learned in the law and others of their counsel, it appears that the abbot and convent and their successors ought to have the same.
