To the men of the town of Derby for the time being. Order to pay to Queen Elizabeth for her life 40l. a year which the king has granted her from Michaelmas last of the farm of that town.
To the tenants of Kyngesthorpe otherwise Thorpe for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 40l. a year.
To the burgesses of Gippewich for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis.
To the men of the town of Southampton for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 46l. of the farm of that town and the increase thereof.
To the heirs of Simon son of Robert de Daventre or other the occupiers whatsoever for the time being of the manor of Falwesley. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 15l. of the farm of that manor.
To the citizens of Norwich for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 20l. of the fee farm of that town (sic) and the augmentation thereof.
To the abbot, prior and convent of St. Edmund for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 40l. for the keeping of the abbey and the temporalities thereof.

To the heirs of William Wylcotes esquire or other the occupiers for the time being of the manor of Hedyngton with the hundred of Bolyngdene without the north gate of Oxford. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 40l. for the said manor and hundred.

To the receivers, customers or collectors for the time being of the customs and subsidies upon wool, hides and woolfells in the port of London. Order to pay to James earl of Douglas 60l. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 1 Edward IV; as the king has granted to him, among other things, 60l. a year for life from that feast of the customs and subsidies aforesaid.
To the receivers, customers or collectors for the time being of customs and subsidies whatsoever in the port of Southampton. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 100l. and the arrears since Michaelmas last.

To the men, tenants, farmers or other the occupiers for the time being of the manor, town or lordship of Briggestoke otherwise Bryxstoke. Order to pay to Queen Elizabeth for her life 20l. a year, which the king has granted her from Michaelmas last of the farm of the said manor, town or lordship.

To the sheriffs of the city of London co. Middlesex, for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas Cornysshe esquire the king's servant, cook for his mouth, an annuity of 10l. for life, which the king has granted him of the subsidy of aliens within that city called 'alientes money.'
May 8.

To the customers, collectors, receivers or farmers for the time being in the port of London. Order to pay to Cicely duchess of York the king's mother 249l. 6s. 8d. a year for life and the arrears since 30 December, 39 Henry VI; as by letters patent of 1 June, 1 Edward IV, the king granted to her among other things for life from 30 December then last, on which day the duke died, in full of her jointure on joint feoffment with Richard duke of York his father, and of her dower, 289l. 6s. 8d. a year of the customs upon wool, hides and woolfells in that port.
May 17.

To the customers or collectors for the time being of customs and subsidies in the port of St. Botolphs town. Order to pay to Thomas Gray the king's esquire 20l. a year for life and the arrears since 31 March last; as the king has granted to him for life from that date a yearly rent of 20l. of the great and petty custom, the subsidies upon wool, hides and woolfells and the subsidies of 30s. the tun and 12l. in the pound in that port and in singular the places and ports adjacent.

To the sheriff of York for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas Lumley and George Lumley knights, 20 marks a year during their lives and the life of the longest liver; as the king has granted to them for their lives etc. the office of constable of Scardeburgh castle co. York and the ward thereof, and all issues, profits etc. to the castle belonging, to be occupied by themselves or by deputy, taking yearly such wages as were allowed of record in the exchequer in times of King Edward III and Richard II, namely 40 marks a year, 20 marks of the issues, profits, farms etc. of the county of York, and 20 marks of the farm or fee farm of the town of Scardeburgh and manor of Walgrave.
To the burgesses, bailiffs or other the occupiers for the time being of the town of Scardeburgh. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 20 marks a year of the farm or fee farm of the said town and manor.
May 13.

To the constable of Wyndesore castle for the time being, his lieutenant or deputy. Order every year to pay to William Staverton 1d. a day during his life, and to pay him the arrears since 9 August, 1 Edward IV, on which date the king granted to him during good behaviour, the office of keeper of Cramburne, otherwise of the bailiwick of 'Batelbailly' in Wyndesore forest, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, with all wages, fees, profits etc. to the same due and accustomed; and for that he has given up those letters patent in chancery to be cancelled, the king has granted him the said office, otherwise that of one of the foresters in Wyndesore forest, namely within the bailiwick of 'Bateilesbailly' therein, or keeper of that bailiwick, by whatsoever name for life, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, with wages of 1d. a day from 9 August aforesaid.

To the receivers, customers or collectors for the time being in the port of Gippewich. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 40l. a year and arrears since Michaelmas, 3 Edward IV.
To the receivers, customers or collectors for the time being in the port of St. Botolphs town. Like order for payment of 60l. a year and arrears since Easter, 2 Edward IV.

To the chief butler of England or his deputy for the time being, Order every year during her life to deliver to Grisildis who was wife of John Hende the elder esquire or to her attorney, one tun of good wine which the king has given her.

To the sheriff of Cambridge and Huntingdon for the time being. Order to pay to Anne the king's sister 20l. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas last; as by letters patent of 29 March last, the king granted to her for life from that feast 20l. a year of the issues, profits, farms, revenues etc. of the said counties.

To the sheriff of Devon for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, for payment of 20l. a year.

To the sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk for the time being. Order every year to pay to Edward Skelton the king's servant 12d. a day during his life, and to pay him the arrears since 4 March, 1 Edward IV; as by letters patent of 16 July that year, the king granted to the said Edward the office of one of his serjeants at arms for life from 4 March aforesaid, with wages of 12d. a day of the farm, profits and revenues of those counties.

To the customers or collectors for the time being of the customs and subsidies upon wool, hides and woolfells in the port of London. Order to suffer the mayor and fellowship of merchants of the staple of Calais, their successors, and the merchants of the said staple for the time being, their factors or attorneys, native and alien in that port once or divers times as they please, to ship by indenture and take over to Calais in any one or more ships or vessels such and so many sacks and cloves of wool and woolfells that the subsidies now or hereafter granted to the king thereupon and the custom shall amount to 18,741l. 13s. 4d. without demanding any customs or subsidies for the same until they be thereof contented, without their finding any security to bring again from foreign parts any bullion, mass or plate of gold or silver for delivery to change or mint greater than half a mark of silver for every sack by virtue of any statute or statutes, such statutes notwithstanding, and without impeachment or grievance, not constraining or distraining them to find security as aforesaid, and taking of them one part of such indentures whereby, and by this command, allowance shall be made to the customers etc. in their account at the exchequer; as with advice and assent of the council the king has given the said mayor and fellowship etc. licence so to ship so many sacks etc. and woolfells in and port or ports of England, and to take the same over to Calais without payment of customs or subsidies in full of the sum aforesaid, without finding security etc., the said statutes notwithstanding, further granting that the king or his heirs should grant no licence, make no order, act or provision whereby the mayor and fellowship etc. should be barred from payment of the sum above mentioned, any statutes, ordinances, acts, provisions, restrictions or commands made to the contrary notwithstanding, and that the wool and fells should or should not be the goods of the shippers.
