Derby and Mafeld co. Condition, that Brian Routh of Dryffelde co. York, brother and heir of John Routh of Routh co. York esquire, shall abide and obey the award of George bishop of Exeter the chancellor and John earl of Northumberland touching all matters, causes, plaints and trespasses between Robert Perpounde of Clyfton Raynes 'gentilman' and himself, and all goods and chattels of the said Robert unlawfully taken by the said Brian, for which he is bound to answer, so that the same shall be rendered before Michaelmas day next.

Confirmation of a grant to them made for life of the said Elizabeth, by writing indented of George Langham, dated 5 November, 1 Edward IV, of a yearly quitrent of 12l. to be taken of and in the said manor after the death of the said George and of Isabel his wife; with proviso that this confirmation shall not be a charge upon the said William, John and John, but only upon the manor. Oxford 'gentilman,' William Drayton and John Denton, feoffees to the use of the said Thomas of a messuage, 50 acres of land and 20 acres of meadow in Northaston, and of a toft in the town there containing one acre of wood, to John Markham knight chief justice appointed to hold pleas before the king and John Aune esquire son and heir of Alexander Aune late serjeant at law, lords of the manor of Northaston to the use of John Aune, their heirs and assigns. Grant and quitclaim of a yearly rent of 40s. issuing from the said manor, claimed by Thomas Somerton by virtue of a grant made by Thomas Tryvett knight to Nicholas Somerton and Walter his son, ancestors of Thomas Somerton, from which claim arose long disputes between the parties and of all interest therein and in the said manor, except common of pasture and right of common therein due and accustomed of old time; reciting that the said John Markham and John Aune have made them, their heirs and assigns, a sufficient release of their homage and fealty and of a rent of 11s. and two capons a year due to the lords of the said manor for the said messuage and land, suit at the court baron of the manor every three weeks, fealty and a rent of 21d. a year for the said toft, and all interest in those and all other lands in the said town, of the said Thomas, William and John Denton, reserving common of pasture and right of common thereupon due and accustomed of old time.
