Indenture made 24 August, 9 Edward IV, attests that William Kerner and Eleanor his wife demised at farm to John Umfrey all lands and tenements, suits of court and services with meadows, pastures, woods, marshes, mills, roads, paths and all other rights in the parishes of Tenderden and Rolvynden co. Kent, to be held for a term of ten years complete, paying annually to the said William and Eleanor or their executors twenty marks sterling, to remain thereafter to the king during the lives of the said William and Eleanor without any payment therefor.
