Westminster.
To the sheriff of Kent. Writ of supersedeas in favour of Thomas Fryth and Maud his wife, and order by mainprise of Roger Clebury of Bomley (sic) co. Kent, Richard Derby of London 'cooke,' John Hogham of Lincolnshire and William Brampton of Norffolk to set them free, if taken at suit of Juliana Styward of Leuesham for trespass.

To the sheriff of Oxford. Like writ, mutatis mutandis, by mainprise of Thomas Notte, Thomas Bate the elder, Thomas Bate the younger and William Turnepas of Oxfordshire, in favour of William Tanner of Morton at suit of Henry Baker.

To the sheriff of Notyngham. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of John Wylton, John Tikhill, William Grene and Thomas Arkilby of Yorkshire, in favour of Adam Fenrother clerk at suit of Richard Stanop knight for trespass.

Richard Middelton abbot of Bewley Regis and the convent to John Chitterne clerk. Grant for life indented of a yearly rent of 60l. of their house and of all their manors and lands in the county of Suthampton, the manors of Great and Little Faryngdoun, Langeford, Great and Little Cokeswylle, Inglesham and Shulton co. Berkshire, to be taken in the church of St. Paul London, with power to distrain for arrears in the abbey and the close thereof and upon the manors and lands aforesaid, and they have put him in seisin by part payment for the first term of 20s.; and covenant that any acquittance or payment alleged elsewhere, without such distress, shall be null and void. Proviso that the said John, his executors and assigns, shall deliver them an acquittance dated in the said church for every payment. Dated the chapter house, the feast of the Annunciation 10 Henry IV.
Memorandum of acknowledgment in the chapter house of Bewley Regis 24 July this year before the abbot of Lettelee, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.
William Wychyngham, son and heir of Nicholas Wychyngham of Norffolk and of Alice his wife daughter of Roger Flete sometime citizen and draper of London, to Nicholas Stratton, William Clay citizens of London and Sir Robert Threske clerk, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of his estate in the two tenements with cellar and solar thereupon built in 'Cosyneslane' in the parish of Allhallows at the Hay London which Alice his mother had by gift of Sir Ralph Spygurnell knight, situate between a cellar sometime of Roger de Waltham on the south, a tenement late of Sir John Cosyn chaplain on the north, the said lane on the east and Douegate street on the west, saving to William Wychyngham and his heirs 16s. 8d. of yearly rent of certain tenements in the said lane sometime of John Cosyn or Thomas Cosyn. Witnesses: Nicholas Wotton, alderman of Douegate ward, John Chapman, Stephen Lalleforde, Nicholas Wardale, Walter Gautroun, John Market, Thomas Bristowe. Dated London, 6 May 11 Henry IV.
Memorandum of acknowledgment at Brosyerd co. Suffok on Monday the morrow of Trinity before John Staverton, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.
William Forde esquire to John Blount esquire and Willelma his wife, and to the heirs and assigns of the said Willelma. Quitclaim of all lands, rents, reversions and services in Hardyngton Maundevyle and in the 'Mersshe' co. Somerset sometime of Thomas Berlegh and John his son, saving to William Forde and his heirs any rents, services and customs thereof due, and power to distrain for the same. Witnesses: Edmund Forde, William Poulet, William Westbury, John Juyn, Thomas Wyke. Dated 20 July 10 Henry IV.
