Condition, that he shall appear in chancery on Monday in the quinzaine of Easter next, and thereafter from day to day, to answer to the king and his council of the duchy of Lancastre touching matters which concern certain writings of quitclaim and other muniments lately made under seal of Robert Wyngefelde, then and there to be to him declared on behalf of the king and the said council.

William abbot of Westminster and the convent to John Cosyn clerk, Richard Maycent, Nicholas Thornton, John Gerbray, John Sewarde, John Bydeforde clerks and John Cantynge. Quitclaim of all lands late of William Cosyn citizen of London situate in 'Cosynlane' on the west side in the parish of Allhallows at the Hay in Douegate ward London, to wit between Douegate on the west and 'Cosynlane' on the east, tenements of Maud relict of William Holbeche on the south and of Simon Bodeham on the north, and of 5s. of yearly rent which the abbot and convent claimed as issuing from the said lands and tenements; and release of all actions real and personal, and all demands against John Cosyn and the others by reason of the said lands, tenements and rent. Thomas Canynges to Robert Alcestre now abbot of St. Mary Hayles co. Gloucestre. Acknowledgment of his seisin, in right of his monastery, in the manor of Rodebourne co. Wiltesir, whereof Henry late abbot was so seised, with all members and appurtenances, and by charter indented demised the same to Thomas Canynges for life, rendering yearly 5 marks, under a condition that, if at any term the rent should be in arrear, it should be lawful for the abbot and his successors again to enter and hold it in his first estate, reciting that before this date the rent was two years in arrear, and that the now abbot did so enter, and has continued his possession until now; and quitclaim thereof to the now abbot and his successors. Witnesses: John Blaket esquire, William Wynslowe, Robert Androwas, Thomas Crykkelade, John Hynton. Dated 19 February 11 Henry IV.

John Makejoy vicar of Berkynge to John Willy chaplain. Recognisance for 40 marks, to be levied etc. of his lands and chattels and church goods in Essex.
Condition, that he shall abide and perform the award of William Cheyne and Thomas Derham chosen on John Makejoy's side, John Urban and John Martyn on John Willy's side, touching all demands and plaints for what cause soever made between the parties, so that it be made before Ascension day next.

John Reymes the younger to John Pelham knight and John Halle the younger, their heirs and assigns. Gift of a moiety of the manor of Hydenye, and of all the grantor's lands, rents and services in Sussex within the liberty of the Cinque Ports and without; and quitclaim with warranty of the same, provided that such warranty shall not extend to making up the value, but only to bar the grantor's heirs. Thomas Fox, brother of William Fox of Edelmeton, to Thomas Haseley clerk, his heirs and assigns. Gift with warranty of 5½ acres of a wood in Edelmeton, one part called 'Nethershote' the other 'Newemanneslonde', on the further side of a watercourse called Metesenge in the midst of the said wood, which wood lies between land and wood of Robert Rolf on the east, wood of the prior of Holy Trinity on the west, land of Thomas Newman on the south and of the prioress of Clerkenwelle by London on the north, and Thomas Fox had it by feoffment of Edith Rolves, sometime wife of Richard Rolves and daughter of John Taillour of Edelmeton. Dated Edelmeton, 1 April 11 Henry IV. Witnesses: William Fox, John Bourcer the elder, Robert Bourcer, John Multon, Richard Teynton.

Thomas Wykes to William Alyngton, Thomas Priour, John Wykes, Nicholas Parys, John Multon, John Wyngkeperye clerk and Nicholas Baynard clerk. Quitclaim of a messuage, a water mill, 300 acres of land, 30 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture and 100s. of rent in Botekesham and Swafham Bulbeke co. Cantebrigge, and of all other lands, rents and services there which were of John Wolf, and which John Wolf had by feoffment of William Wolf, by name of all his lands, rents and services in the towns and fields aforesaid, and with Elizabeth his wife by charter, dated Botekesham 20 February last, demised to Thomas Wykes, William Alyngton and the others. John Harecourt is sent to the prioress and convent of the house of St. Margaret Derteforde co. Kent for such maintenance as any other had therein at the request of any of the king's predecessors. By p.s. [6549.]
Assignment of dower to Anne who was wife of James Norhampton, made by William Notebeem escheator in Middlesex in presence and with assent of William Coventre and Lawrence Hampton guardians of all his lands in Middlesex and elsewhere within the realm, which came to the king's hands by his death and by reason of the nonage of William Cumberton his cousin and heir, and assent of Henry Somer, Thomas Burton and other friends of the heir, namely seven messuages, 144½ acres of land, 14 acres of meadow, 7s. 3d. of rent, a rent of three hens and a half and of 100 eggs a year, and the service of reaping one day in autumn in Shordyche and Hakeney, with all other lands, rents and services of the said James there and in Iseldoun and Newton, 30 acres of wood in Totenham, whereof 10 acres are in the park of Daubeneys manor and 20 acres in 'Totenhamwode' by the wood of Helmyng Leget, 20 acres of meadow there, whereof 10 acres are in 'Wildemerssh' by 'Wildemersshbregge' with all works thereof, and 10 acres are in 'Baillesbrooke,' and a third part of the grange in Daubeneys manor in Totenham, for that by letters patent of 17 February 11 Henry IV, at this assignment produced, for 10l. paid in his hanaper the king has pardoned Thomas Rolfe his trespass in taking her to wife and her trespass in marrying him without licence of the king.
