John Holton serjeant of the king's larder is sent to the abbot and convent of Meaux, to take of that house such maintenance as John Clerk clerk of the crown deceased had. By p.s. [573.]
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 6 February this year by John Baylly of Walpole, William Skynner of Tyryngton, both co. Norffolk, John Bostone of London 'vynter' and Thomas Taverne of Westminster co. Middlesex for William Lumbarde of Castelacre, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 40l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to John Thory and Roger Probert otherwise Proberde.
Memorandum of a like mainprise, mutatis mutandis, under a pain of 200l., made 22 January by Christopher de Culwen knight, Hugh de Redlee esquire, both of Cumberland, William Vyncent of Yorkshire and Robert Preston of Westmerland for William Blenkensop in regard to John Lancastre of Brampton.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100l., made in chancery 20 January this year by William Richard of Cornwall and John Nabbe of Bristol, to have Walter Wylby there in the quinzaine of Easter next.
