To the escheator in Surrey. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with the manor of Totyngravenelle, delivering to John de Norton, William Richardeson and John Flyxburgh chaplains any issues thereof taken; as it is found by inquisition, taken before John Wyntereshulle late escheator, that John Dymmoke esquire at his death held no lands in that county in chief nor of others, but long before his death, namely 26 July 3 Henry V, gave that manor to the said chaplains, their heirs and assigns, and that the same is held of another than the king. Feb. 10.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Norhamptonshire. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with the manor of Couesgrave, delivering to the now earl of Warwic any issues thereof taken; as it is found by inquisition, taken before Thomas Wideville late escheator, that Nicholas Lillynge knight at his death held that manor for life by demise of Thomas late earl of Warwic, with reversion to Richard de Bello Campo now earl, son and heir of the said Thomas, and to his heirs, and that the same is not held of the king, but of whom it is held, or by what service, the jurors know not; and by another inquisition, taken before the escheator, it is found that the said Nicholas held the same for life by demise of the late earl, by letters patent produced at the later inquisition, with reversion to the late earl and his heirs, that the said Richard is son and heir of the late earl, and that the manor is held of another than the king.
