Oct. 1.
To the sheriff of Wiltesir for the time being. Order to pay to John Acclane the king's serjeant 6d. a day for his life, which the king has granted him of the issues, profits and revenues of that county for good and willing service, and for that he has advanced the said John to be one of the yeomen of the crown, and has retained him for life with him.
Membrane 38d.
Robert Lovell to Maud his mother and John lord Lovell her son, and to the heirs and assigns of the said John. Charter with warranty of all the grantor's manors, lands, rents, reversions, advowsons of churches and services in Dorset which were of Lawrence de Sancto Martino knight. Witnesses: Eudo Fitz Waryn, John Moyne, Robert Turburvyle knights, John Gawayn, John Neuton. Dated 15 March 14 Henry IV.
Robert Lovell to John Roger or Nicholas Coventre clerk. Letter of attorney, appointing them to deliver to Maud his mother and to John lord Lovell, his heirs and assigns, seisin of all manors, lands etc. in Wiltesir and Dorset which were of Lawrence de Sancto Martino, according to a charter to them made. Dated 15 March 14 Henry IV.
Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter and writing in chancery at Westminster 22 March this year.
