Isabel who was wife of Peter Stantor esquire, daughter and heir
of Richard Vernoun sometime lord of Great Hornyngesham in
her widowhood, to Walter Hungerforde knight, his heirs and
assigns. Confirmation with warranty of his estate and possession
of his common of pasture in Great Hornyngesham pertaining
to his manor of Estcote in Heghtredesbury, which by an assize
of novel disseisin before Robert Hulle, Thomas Bonham and
others, justices of assize, on Thursday before St. Lucy 3 Henry
V he recovered against the said Isabel, her said husband and
others, namely common of pasture for his sheep in 1,000 acres
of wood yearly from St. Martin in winter to the midmost day of
March, and for all other his neat beasts and cattle there during
the whole year, and in 2,000 acres of furze and heath there for
all his neat beasts and cattle during the whole year; and proviso
that this warranty shall extend only to bar the said Isabel and
her heirs, and not to rendering of the value in case such common
or parcel thereof be recovered. Witnesses: William Chene,

chancery 30 January this year by Robert Crakanthorp, John
Appelby, William Sandeforde, all of Westmerland, and John
Brampton of London 'barbour' for John Lancastre of Westmerland, and of an undertaking by him under the same pain, that he
shall do or procure no hurt or harm to William Blenkensop. |

Hungerforde knight, Roger Flore, Peter Mauan, John Laurence,
John Russell, Henry Bracy and John Wykes, to whom Edward
late duke of York, by licence of the king, gave the manor of
Fasterne co. Wiltesir and other lordships, manors and lands in
divers counties, to John Popham knight the younger. Grant
for life of a yearly rent of 20 marks to be taken of the said manor,
at the request of the said duke by his letters patent, and for good
service to the duke; and they have put the said knight in possession
