Westminster.
Henry de Percy, cousin of Henry late earl of Northumberland, to the king. Recognisance for 10,000l., to be levied etc. in Northumberland.
Condition, that before 1 April Henry de Percy shall make the king, his heirs and assigns, a sure estate of 2,000l. a year of land or rent in England, until 10,000l. be levied and paid to the king's use for ransom of Mordac de Fyfe, even as it is agreed between the king and Henry de Percy.
Memorandum that this recognisance etc. was taken by Richard Grey of Codenore knight by a writ.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against John Popham, by the late king appointed with others to make inquisition in the county of Suthampton concerning all goods and merchandise, alien and native, imported and exported in the port of Suthampton and in singular the ports and places adjacent while John Thorp, John Polmoude and Gilbert Maghfelde were collectors of customs and subsidies of King Richard II there, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as that commission came not to John Popham's hands, as he has made oath in chancery.

Order to take of Thomas son and heir of Robert Morle knight security for payment of his relief, and to give him seisin of his father's lands, saving to Parnell who was wife of the said Robert her dower; as the king has taken the homage and fealty of the said Thomas. By p.s.
To the escheator in Norffolk and Suffolk. Order to take of (the said) Parnell an oath etc. and, in presence of (the said) Thomas or his attorneys to assign her dower.
