Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 40l., made in chancery 13 January this year by John Brooke of London 'waxchaundeler,' William Tirill 'taillour,' Henry Kirton 'treakilmanger,' both of the town of Westminster, and John Everarde of the parish of Clerkenwell co. Middlesex for Robert Kyngeston of London 'grocer,' and of an undertaking by him under the same pain, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Joan wife of John Pygoun 'pursuant' or any other of the people.
John Herdewyke, son and heir of John Herdewyke of Molynton, to John Wauer of Baunebury and Alice his wife, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents, reversions and services with waters etc. in Burton, Herdewyke, Wardyngton, Eynesham, Tilgaresleye, Wytteneye, 'Water Eton, Wode Eton,' Noke, Fynnemere and Baunebury co. Oxford, Westbury, co. Bokyngham, Shoteswelle, 'Chepyng Derset, Venny Compton' and Bereforde co. Warrewyk which John Wauer and Alice have by feoffment of Robert Betrich and John Taillour of Baunebury chaplains. Witnesses: John Dauvers, Richard Eton, Thomas Masoun. John Russell, son of John Russell knight (militis), to John Russell of Herefordshire his said father's executor. General release of all personal actions by reason of his father's will for property thereby bequeathed or disposed of, and of all lands, goods and debts in Suffolk, Hertfordshire and elsewhere within the realm, and the issues, profits etc. thereof to him appointed by his said father in his life time, or for other causes. Dated 31 January 8 Henry V.

Charter with warranty of the castle, manor and lordship of Snodhulle co. Hereforde with the advowson of the free chapel there, and the park, warren, mill, fishery in the river Dore and view of frankpledge, with the knights' fees, rents, services, customs etc. to the same pertaining. Quitclaim with warranty of divers lands, rents and services etc. in Harlton, Barenton and Everisdoun, sometime of Elizabeth Flambarde, which on Thursday before St. Peters Chair 12 Henry IV by assize of novel disseisin he recovered from William Bateman, and demised to them for a term of ten years beginning on Michaelmas day 7 Henry V, a meadow with half an acre of land before the gate of Harlton rectory excepted. Charter of the castle, manor and lordship of Snodhulle for his life without impeachment of waste, with the park, mill, rents, services, free warren, fishery in the river Dore, view of frankpledge, knights' fees, and the advowson of the free chapel of the said castle to the same pertaining; and covenant that though waste be by him and his assigns made therein they shall be thereof quit.
