Robert del Bothe of Lancashire esquire and John del Bothe the younger to the king. Recognisance for 1,000 marks, to be levied etc. of their lands and chattels in Derbyshire. (fn. 1)
Condition, that the said John shall appear in person in chancery in the quinzaine of St. John Baptist next.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 23 June this year by John West of Croxton co. Cantebrigge 'gentilman,' John Gamelgey, Henry Rokesdoun, each of London 'gentilman,' and John Leyr of Stokeneylonde co. Suffolk 'gentilman' for John Gilmyn the younger, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 40l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Thomas Bernarde or any other of the people.
John Lawneye citizen and grocer of London to Thomas Knolles citizen and grocer of London the elder, Thomas Colrede and Geoffrey Colet, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim of seven messuages, a garden and a 'kaye' in Bishops Lenne, reciting a fine thereof levied at Westminster three weeks after Easter 10 Henry V between the said Thomas, Thomas, Geoffrey and John plaintiffs and Henry Louelyche of London and Margaret his wife, late wife and executrix of Philip Withe burgess of Bishops Lenne, deforciants, whereby the deforciants acknowledged the right of John Lawneye, and made a quitclaim of the premises to the plaintiffs and the heirs of John Lawneye. Grant and demise of a yearly rent of 10 marks, to be taken of the manor of 'Westhurrok' co. Essex, and after the decease of Anne Gryffyth, Isabel Fraunceys or Isabel Halughton 10 marks a year more; and power to take of that manor 100s. in name of a pain if either rent shall be one month in arrear. Quitclaim of the manors of Brandeston, Charesfelde and Westerfelde co. Suffolk, Oxeburgh, Shipdene and Riston co. Norffolk, 100 acres of land, 40 acres of pasture and 20s. of rent in Salthous, Berton Byndyche and Henstede co. Norffolk, and the manors of Radewelle, Compton Dureville, Hassokmore and Loxton co. Somerset, all which he had with them by gift and quitclaim of Joan who was wife of John Stretche esquire by fine levied in the king's court this instant Trinity term. Dated 5 July 10 Henry V.
