To the escheator in Oxfordshire. Order to give Humphrey Hay and Maud his wife livery of a fourth part of the manor of Abberbury otherwise called 'Haggeley maner,' and the issues thereof taken; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that Alice Haggeley at her death held that part in chief for her life by grant of William Stevenes chaplain and Richard Overton, made with licence of the king to the said Alice and Henry Haggeley deceased then her husband, with remainder to William Haggeley deceased and the said Maud then his wife and to the heirs of their bodies; and the king has taken the fealty of the said Humphrey.
