Westminster.
To the escheator in Surrey. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with the manor of Tottynggravenelle, delivering to John de Norton, William Richardeson and John Flixburgh chaplains any issues thereof taken; as it is found by inquisition, taken before John Wyntereshull the late king's escheator, that long before his death John Dymmok esquire gave that manor, which was held of the abbot of Certesey in socage by the service of one red rose a year at Midsummer, to the said chaplains and to their heirs. Richard de Shordich, son of Thomas de Shordich of Wymbeldoun co. Surrey, to John Burgh the elder of Waleton co. Surrey esquire, Katherine his wife, William their son and the heirs of the said John. Quitclaim of all the lands, rents and services, woods, underwoods, heaths, commons, hedges, ditches, rivers, weirs, paths etc. in the parishes of Wymbeldoun and Wandelesworth commonly called 'Botillereslonde,' and a toft in Wymbeldoun called the Cokkeres, all sometime of his said father and now in their possession. Dated 2 March 8 Henry VI.
Richard Shordich (as above) to John Burgh of Waleton esquire. General release of all personal actions, plaints, claims and demands. Dated 3 April 8 Henry VI.
Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing writings in chancery at Westminster, 15 September this year.
Richard Broun 'taloughchaundeller' of Suthwerke by London to Clement Bisshop 'amurer' and Thomas Gate 'sherman' citizens of London, their executors and assigns. Gift of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead. Witnesses: William Staundoun, William Turnour, John Yorke skinner. Dated 25 September 9 Henry VI.
