Fulham.
To the prior and convent of Spaldyng in Holande co. Lincoln. Request to admit to their house Thomas Qwyne the king's servant, keeper of his cellars at London, whom the king has sent thither, and to minister to him for life a corrody with the office of janitor of that priory, making him letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as in recompense for his good service the king's will is to make provision of a maintenance for the said Thomas. Fulham.
To the prior and convent of Thetforde. Order to take again letters patent concerning a corrody or maintenance in that priory which John Kente has by grant of King Henry IV, to admit the said John and Hugh Kyngeston the king's servant to their house, and minister the same to them for their lives and the life of the longest liver, making and delivering to them other letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what they shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as John Kente is minded to surrender the said letters to the end that the king should grant that corrody to him and the said Hugh, and for their good service the king has granted them the same. Declaration by Maud Stanes of London widow of her will concerning the disposition of all lands in the parish of 'Estgrenewich' co. Kent wherein Nicholas Kent vintner and William Olyver mercer citizens of London were by her enfeoffed in trust, namely that they shall sell the same by oversight and assent of Thomas Guyn citizen and vintner of London and John de la Chambre otherwise Violet, and of the masters and wardens of the mistery of vintners of London for the time being, as best they may without fraud or covin, and all the money shall be delivered to the said master (sic) or wardens to the intent that the masters or wardens and their successors shall therewith find the said Maud meat, raiment of linen and woollen, shoeing, bedding and other things needful all her life, and at her decease the surplus shall remain to them for disposal among the poor and needy of that mistery for their support and relief, that they may for ever pray for her soul, the souls of Thomas Stanes her husband and of the faithful departed. Dated London, 8 February 17 Henry VI.
Memorandum of acknowledgment 27 May at the said Maud's lodging in the parish of St. Martin in 'Temstrete' London before Richard Selby, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file.

Manor of Henley on the Heath.
To the abbot and convent of Hamon co. Salop. Request to admit to their house John Rede the king's servant, yeoman of his pantry, and Roger Ree yeoman of the chamber of Richard duke of York, whom the king has sent thither, and to minister to them and to the longest liver such corrody or maintenance as Robert de Lie or any other person had or ought to have had by the king's prerogative, making them letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what they shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as the king's will is to make provision for maintenance of the said John and Richard. Request to admit to their house John Penycoke the king's servant, yeoman of his crown and robes, whom the king has sent thither, and to minister to him such maintenance as any other person heretofore had therein, making him letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what he shall take, and writing etc. (as above); as the king's will is (as above).
