William Tanner otherwise Forde chaplain to William Bradeforde abbot of Shyrbourne co. Dorset. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. of his lands and chattels and church goods in Dorset.
Condition, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to the abbot or any of his servants, nor fire the abbey church or any house of the abbot or his successors, neither shall he all his life at any time of the year abide in the town of Shyrbourne more than five days a quarter.
Nicholas Fynderne of Fynderne esquire, John Makworth clerk, Thomas Blount knight, Henry Bothe and Henry Knyveton esquires to John Wylne prior of Holy Trinity Repyndoun and the convent and to their successors. John Jonson of York 'gentilman' to Isabel Assheby. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. of his lands and chattels in the city of York.
Condition that, in case the said Isabel be married before Midsummer day next, he shall pay to her or her executors 10 marks on that day, 10 marks on Midsummer day following, and so year by year until fully contented of 40 marks, and if not then married shall pay her 5 marks on the said feast and year by year as aforesaid, or else shall appear in person in chancery on the said feast, or within the octaves thereof, to answer touching what shall be laid against him on her behalf.

Confirmation indented of her estate in the manors of Alby and Hokeryng, a fishery in Hengham called Semer, the hundred of Eynesforde co. Norffolk, the advowsons of the priories and churches of Hengham, Brandoun, Folsham, Byntre, Hokeryng, Matishale Bergh and Haddesco Thorp, the manor and advowson of Swanton Morlee, the manor of Folsham and the hundred of Eynesforde; reciting a charter whereby Thomas Erpyngham knight and Richard Drewe demised to Thomas lord Morle and Isabel his wife and to the heirs of their bodies the manors, fishery, hundred and advowsons first mentioned, another charter whereby the said Thomas Erpyngham and Richard with Henry late bishop of Norwich, Robert late bishop of London, Miles Stapilton knight, Thomas Stanley, John Thorp and John Byrlyngham clerks, William Res, Robert Garneys, John Yelverton and James Billyngforde made a like demise of the manor and advowson of Swanton Morlee, and a charter whereby William Phelipp, John Rothenale, John Smethis, Edmund Wynter, Nicholas Rykhill and William Garneys made them a like demise of the manor of Folsham and the said hundred, and that the grantees continued their estate therein all the life of Thomas lord Morle, and the said Isabel after his death until now. Surrey, Margaret his wife and John Whyte son of the said Robert, and to the heirs and assigns of Robert Whyte. Charter indented with warranty of the manor of 'Southwarneborne' co. Suthampton, rendering to the grantor and his heirs 600 marks, namely 200 marks in the church of St. Leonard in 'Estchepe' London on the feast of the Annunciation 1440, 200 marks on the same feast next following, and 200 marks on the same feast 1442; and if the said rent be fifteen days unpaid, or if the grantees shall allege or plead any payment or acquittance elsewhere made than in the parish aforesaid, it shall be lawful for the grantor and his heirs again to enter, seize and have the said manor, this indenture notwithstanding; and proviso that the grantor or his heirs shall deliver an acquittance sealed with their arms for every payment and for the whole rent. Sale of three hundred pieces of tin, which by letters patent of 9 November last, in consideration of his good and unpaid service and in recompense for the same, the king granted licence to the vendor by himself or his deputies to buy within the realm, to sell or exchange his right to any foreigner or native, to ship the tin in a ship or ships in any port he should please and, without payment of custom or subsidy, to carry the same to such foreign parts as he should think best for his advantage, any statute or ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding. Gift indented of a yearly rent of 20 marks for life, payable to him or his attorney in the said church, the first payment to be on Michaelmas day next, receiving his acquittance there dated for every payment, and covenant there to pay 40s. in name of a pain whensoever the rent or any parcel thereof shall be one month in arrear, with bond for payment thereof, and of 10 marks if they or their successors shall allege an acquittance elsewhere dated or aught else in their discharge. Indenture of grant of a yearly rent or pension of 20l. for eighty years, payable of their manor of Duryngton co. Wiltesir, and grant of 100s. in name of a pain if the same or parcel thereof shall be one month in arrear after any term of payment; with proviso that payment shall cease if the said Walter die within that term, but the proportion due in his life time shall be paid to his executors though he die before the completion of any term of payment.
