Richard Fryston the king's serjeant, one of the clerks of chancery is sent to the abbot and convent of Kirkestall co. York, to take such corrody or maintenance as Agnes Leventhorp deceased or any other person heretofore had of their house of Birstall in Holdernesse at the request of any man.

Thomas More clerk of Cumberland to the warden or dean and canons of the college of St. George within Wyndesore castle. Recognisance for 40l., to be levied etc. in Cumberland.
Condition, that neither he nor Master Alexander Cokke clerk shall make Robert Roos of Lincolnshire knight, his heirs or executors an acquittance of a bond of 31 July 18 Henry VI in 13l. 6s. 8d. to them payable on the feast of the Assumption 1441 by the said Robert, or of another bond of the same date in a like sum payable on the same feast 1442, or of another of the same date in a like sum payable on the same feast 1443, or of any parcel of those sums, and that the said Thomas and Alexander shall appoint such attorneys as the wardens (sic) or dean and canons shall name for all suits and pleas on that behalf, make such executions, and maintain such suits, pleas and executions.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200l., made in chancery 22 October this year by William Stone of Suthampton co. Suthampton esquire, Christopher Cataneus of the parish of St. Dionysius Bakchirch London 'Jenewey,' Jerome Spynell and Baptista de Gymbertis each of the parish of St. Swithun London 'Jenewey' for Simon Spynule and Edward Cataneus, that they shall appear in person in chancery on the morrow of All Souls next to answer touching what shall be laid against them.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 16 October this year by John Danyell of London 'gentilman,' to have Richard Lyegh chaplain there on Monday next, and of an undertaking by the said Richard under the same pain to appear there in person at that day.
