Bartholomew Stratton citizen and mercer of London to John archbishop of Canterbury and chancellor, Augustine Stratton and Geoffrey Feldynge citizens and mercers of London, their executors and assigns. Gift of all his goods, possessions and chattels moveable and immovable in London and elsewhere within the realm and over sea, and all debts to him due. Dated 22 October 1443, 22 Henry VI.

George Hyde, son of William Hyde esquire deceased, to Robert Bertyn citizen and draper of London, his executors and assigns. Indenture of lease with warranty for ten years from Midsummer day last of the whole tenement with cellar, solar etc. in the lane and parish of St. Martin Orgar by 'Candelwikstret' London wherein the said Robert now dwells, and two tenements on the west side thereof in the lane and parish of St. Lawrence Pounteney, rendering yearly 8l. for all other services and demands; covenant that the lessee shall at his own cost maintain, repair and secure the premises against wind and rain, the principal timber excepted which shall be maintained and repaired by the lessor, that if distress may not be found for arrears of the said farm, it shall be lawful for the lessor again to enter and hold the premises in his first estate, and to thrust out the lessee, this indenture notwithstanding, and that the lessor shall acquit the lessee against the chief lords and all others of quit rent and all charges; and bond by the parties for observance of these covenants. Dated London, 24 July 1444, 22 Henry VI.

William Stanes citizen and pastiller of London to Peter Stucle clerk, Thomas Hoye citizen and 'joynour' and Richard Alforde citizen and baker, both of London, their executors and assigns. Charter of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead in the city and suburbs of London and elsewhere within the realm and without; and he has given them 40s. in name of seisin. Dated 20 July 22 Henry VI.
