Feb. 28.
Westminster.
John Copyner of Hadley co. Suffolk 'yoman' to John Hillary of Hadley. Recognisance for 40l., to be levied etc. in Suffolk.
Condition, that he shall abide and perform the award of William Hillary of Hadley 'gentilman' touching all matters between the parties, so that the award be made before Easter day next.
Geoffrey Rokell of Essex esquire to John Godmanston esquire. Receipt and acquittance for 40 marks as a third payment of 500 marks for a moiety of the manor of Frynton co. Essex and the advowson of a mediety of the church there. Dated 13 October 22 Henry VI.
Geoffrey Rokell to John Godmanston (both as above). (Like) receipt etc. for 50 marks as a fourth payment. Dated 27 April 22 Henry VI.

Thomas Moreton of Graveshende co. Kent and William Moreton his son to Alexander Chylde citizen and draper of London, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of two tenements situate together in Melton by Gravesende, one called the 'Bull,' the other the 'Grehounde,' and a garden with a dovecote therein adjacent to the 'Grehounde,' a wharf and three tenements thereupon built, and the grantors' share of a bridge adjacent to the wharf, namely between a tenement of John Sprever on the south, the river Thames on the north, the high street on the west and land of John Page the younger on the east; also of a croft lying upon the 'Clives' containing 4 acres of arable land, a parcel of land to that croft adjacent on the north side, lying under the 'Clives,' extending to the river Thames and land of the lord of Melton on the south, and abutting on land of John Page on the east and the said two tenements on the west. Witnesses: Thomas Sprever, John Sprever, John Page, John Okham, Andrew Kebill, Richard Kebell, Lawrence Bocher. Dated 27 February 23 Henry VI.

John Waleys clerk and John Story of Taunton to John Bysshop of Taunton, his heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of all lands, rents, reversions and services in Taunton, Dippaford, Cerney, Pille and Oke co. Somerset which by fine levied in the king's court in 16 Henry VI the grantors had by gift of John Bysshop and Alice his wife; and appointment of Robert Shete, Walter Pyryhalle and Thomas Sprete attorneys to enter the premises and give John Bysshop seisin thereof. Witnesses: Robert Warre, Richard Warre, William Dodesham, John Blauer, Thomas Warreyn. Dated Taunton, 29 November 23 Henry VI.

John Flete citizen and 'haberdasser' of London to John Fulbery citizen and 'haberdassher' of London, his executors and assigns. Charter of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead in the city and suburbs of London and elsewhere within the realm; and to John Fulbery, his heirs and assigns, of all the grantor's lands, rents, reversions and services in the said city and suburbs. Dated London, 17 December 23 Henry VI.

Gift of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead, his property, merchandise and wares in London and elsewhere within the realm and over sea, and all debts to him due; and he has put them in possession thereof by delivery of a piece of silver with cover.
