Augustine Hawkyns citizen and grocer of London to Sir Thomas Fawkes clerk, Thomas Trille cutler and William Forster tailor citizens of London, their executors and assigns. Memorandum of an acknowledgment made in person in chancery 20 May 24 Henry VI by John Hyde, one of the executors of Peter Besyles knight, that Thomas Somerton has contented him and Thomas Chalkeley the other executor of 200 marks wherein he was condemned in chancery to them and to William Warbelton and Margery his wife, executrix of the said Peter, and was committed to the Flete gaol, and of John Hyde's consent that he be set free; also of an acknowledgment by Thomas Somerton, being there present, that he has made no alienation of lands in Kyngesbrympton save only of lands there not exceeding the fourth part of the manor of Kyngesbrympton.

Condition, that he shall abide and perform the award of John archbishop of Canterbury, John Fortescu and Richard Neuton knights touching all disputes between him and John Paston and Margaret his wife concerning divers manors and lands of Robert Mandby specified in his last will, so that the same be rendered and delivered to the parties in writing before Whitsuntide next; and proviso that such award shall not tend to the prejudice of Thomas Chambre and Eleanor his wife, late wife of the said Robert, nor of John Paston and Margaret by reason of any cause or claim between the said Thomas and Eleanor and the said John and Margaret, nor to bar or prejudice the title and interest of the said Margaret and her heirs in any of the premises.
