Westminster.
To the receivers, farmers or occupiers for the time being of all lands in Cornwall of William Bodrigan knight, tenant by knight service of the king, which came to the king's hands by his death and by reason of the nonage of Henry his son and heir and yet are or ought to be in his hands. Order to pay and deliver to William earl of Suffolk, William bishop of Salisbury, Thomas Bekynton the king's secretary, John Carpenter clerk, Henry Sever clerk late provost of the college of St. Mary Eton and John Hampton esquire all that on 16 February last did or might pertain to the king by reason of the wardship of the said heir, does or now may, and shall or may hereafter pertain to him; as by letters patent of that date of his particular knowledge the king granted the same, among other things, to them and their assigns without rendering aught to him.

To the chief butler or his representative in the city of London for the time being. Order to deliver to Gilbert Par the king's esquire, one of the ushers of his chamber, and to Agnes his wife during their lives and the life of the longest liver one tun or two pipes a year of red wine of Gascony, to be taken in the said city after the death of Alice Boteller, which by letters patent of 22 May 19 Henry VI the king granted them for good and willing service.

To the escheator in Essex. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with the manor of Pleccheden, delivering to John Marchall, Alice his wife, Henry Caldebeke and Cicely his wife any issues thereof taken; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that Margaret who was wife of John Hynkeley at her death held no lands in Essex in chief in demesne nor in service, but held the said manor in socage of Richard Nevylle earl of Salisbury by the service of rendering 4d. a year, and that the said Alice and Cicely are her daughters and next heirs, and are of full age.

Order to the sheriff of Sussex for election of a coroner instead of Thomas Grene, who is too much occupied with divers business of the king in that county to have leisure to exercise the office of coroner.
Jan. 29.
Westminster.
Order to the sheriffs of the city of York for election of a coroner instead of Thomas Dancastre, who is insufficiently qualified.
(Like) order to the (said) sheriffs in regard to Robert Burun.
