Richard Argum of Louthe to John Sampson of Louthe chaplain and to his heirs. Quitclaim with warranty of all the lands in the town and fields of Louthe and elsewhere in Lincolnshire sometime of Richard Wadster and Joan his wife, parents of the grantor, which were in possession of Simon Louthe at his death and of Alice his wife after. Witnesses: John Sudbury vicar of Louthe, Richard Aubell, William Barker, William Rughton chaplains, John Williamson, William Whilkisley, William Lytster, Robert Barker, Richard Wyhom, Nicholas Burton. Dated Louthe, 11 September 26 Henry VI.
Memorandum of acknowledgment at the monastery of Louth Park 21 October before the abbot and John Sudbury vicar of Louthe, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.

Lincoln 'gentilman' for life, with remainder to Richard Argum and the heirs of his body, remainder to John Prisot, Walter Taillard, John Sudbury vicar of Louth, John Williamson of Louth, William Haseley and Thomas Broun, both of Cambridgeshire and to their heirs. Charter of all the lands in the town and fields of Louth and elsewhere in Lincolnshire sometime of Richard Wadster and Joan his wife, parents of Richard Argum of Louth, which were in possession of Simon Louth at his death, and of Alice his wife after, and John Sampson had the same by grant of John Louth and Richard Argum.
