Westminster.
To the abbot and convent of Abyndon. Request to admit Henry Abyndon the king's serjeant to their house immediately after the death of John Penycoke esquire, who has a corrody or maintenance for life therein as appears by letters under seal of the house, or as soon as those letters shall be void, and minister the same to the said Henry as fully as the said John had it, making him letters patent under the common seal of their house with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as in consideration of his daily service the king's will is that provision thereof be made to the said Henry after the said John's death or as soon as it shall be void, and has sent him thither.

Declaration of Richard Hervyle citizen and pewterer of London, son and heir of Waltier Hervyle and Maud his wife, that he was examined and sworn upon a book to say whether he ever sold to William Cresuyle or any other to his use, or made him any estate of two tenements, called severally 'Reynoldys' and 'Chauncellers' in Arlychesey co. Bedford with lands etc. appurtenant, and that he never sold them to William Cresuyle. Dated 25 November 27 Henry VI. English.
