Florence wife of John Boukes of Birchangre, John Jardeville the younger of Storteford, John Jardeville the elder of Newport, Thomas Holte of Depden, John Grace of Storteford, and Richard Grace of Chesthunte, to John Bemysshe of Great Dunmowe, Joan his wife and Thomas his son, their heirs and assigns. Gift by charter with warranty of two crofts late of Richard the father of John Boukes, each of three acres, one called 'Everardes,' the other 'Beldamcroft' in Birchanger aforesaid, with hedges and ditches etc. Witnesses: William Taillour, George Bryan, John Elmedon, John Preston, Richard Stonehard, John Colman, John Wygge. Dated Birchangre, 30 April, 2 Henry VII.
Florence Boukes, John Jardevyle, William Crowe and John Sturdy of Storteford and Robert Crabbe of Birchangre, to John, Joan and Thomas Bemysshe, their heirs and assigns. Demise with warranty of all lands and tenements, meadows, lesues, pastures and woods, ditches and dykes called 'Boukes' of Stortehill in Birchangre and Stortford, which they held with Henry Torell, John Wretill, John Kyng and Nicholas Bolyngton by demise of John Boukes. Dated Birchangre (as above) with witnesses.
