Thomas son of Sir William Cantlowe, late alderman of London, kinsman and heir of Richard Barry, to wit son of Margaret daughter of Richard, and Geoffrey Cantlowe his son, to Richard bishop of Bath and Wells, Nicholas Alwyn, Thomas Quadringe, Richard Alwyn mercers and William Haryot draper, citizens of London, their heirs and assigns. Release and quitclaim with warranty to the use of Richard son of Henry Cantlowe, mercer of London, brother of the grantor of a messuage or hospice called 'Clementis Inne,' lying in the parish of St. Clement Danes without New Temple Barre, London: and of all and singular other lands and tenements, rents, reversions and services, meadows, lesues and pastures with leperhouses in Middlesex of Richard Barry and after of Sir William Cantlowe. Dated 2 June, 7 Henry VII.
Thomas and Geoffrey Cantlowe, to Sir James Crowner, his heirs and assigns. Release and quitclaim with warranty to the use of Richard Cantlowe, of a close or pasture called 'Cantlowes Close' lying in Kentisshe Towne in the parish of St. Pancras in the Fields co. Middlesex between the king's highway and the lands of the Charterhouse. Dated (as above).
Thomas Cantlowe, late husband of Margaret daughter of Elena Johnson, daughter of Laurence Pygot of Dunstaple and Geoffrey Cantlowe, to Richard bishop of Bath and Wells etc. (as above), their heirs and assigns. Release and quitclaim with warranty to the use of Richard Cantlowe of all those manors, lands and tenements, meadows, lesues, pastures, rents and services, with woods, hedges, ditches and dykes in the towns and fields of Dunstaple, Wypsnade, Eyton, Stodeham, Dagnale, Byllyngdon, Houghton Regis, Cadyngdon, Kennesworth, Toturnhoe and Flamstede cos. Bedford, Buckingham and Hertford, formerly of Laurence Pygot, and afterwards of Sir William Cantlowe and Elizabeth his wife. Dated 2 June, 7 Henry VII.
