To the keepers of the passage in the port of Kyngeston upon Hull, Dovorre or Sandewich. Passport in favour of Master Henry Godebarne parson of Hornsee with one chaplain, one yeoman and three horses, and Thomas de Kerkeby clerk, with one horse, taking 10 marks, provided they carry nought to the prejudice of the king or realm; as the said Henry is with the king's licence journeying to the court of Rome for business of Alexander archbishop of York, and Thomas for business of John de Clifford clerk concerning the treasurership of the church of St. Peter York, and they have made oath before the council that they will attempt or procure nought which may tend to the prejudice of the king or people. Passport by mainprise of John Knyngtle and Henry Broun of Staffordshire and Hugh Chaumberleyn of Gloucestershire in favour of Thomas de Lichefeld, journeying by licence of the king to the court of Rome with one servant for business concerning Stoneley abbey, and taking 40s. for expenses and one letter of exchange for 10l., any command to the said keepers previously addressed to the contrary notwithstanding, provided he take nought to the prejudice etc. By bill of C.

Like passport, mutatis mutandis, by mainprise of William Henrys of Salop and John Constantyn of Derbyshire, in favour of William de Wynfeld parson of [ (fn. 2) ], journeying by licence of the king to the court of Rome with one servant for recovery of his church as he says.

To Augustine Benet a Lumbard. Licence to make a letter of exchange for 50l. payable in foreign parts to Hugh Westwyke clerk.
