Westminster.
John Michel of London 'vyneter' to William Bool clerk. Recognisance for 24 marks, to be levied etc. in the city of London and in Middlesex.
John Derhurst and Nicholas Perfit to John Ravenser clerk. Recognisance for 46 marks, to be levied etc. in Gloucestershire.
Defeasance thereof, upon condition that they pay 23 marks at the day named.
Cancelled on payment.
Nicholas Perfit to John de Lincoln clerk. Recognisance for 60s., to be levied etc. in Gloucestershire.
Defeasance thereof upon condition that, if it may be found in a record of the exchequer that the ancestors of Richard Talbot knight paid relief for a barony, the said Nicholas shall pay 60s. over and above 40s. by him paid to the said John for the fee of the king's chamberlain, as for lands of the said ancestors' heritage.

Roger Northwode knight, son and heir of John Northwode knight of Kent, to Richard Ruyhale the younger and Elizabeth his wife. Recognisance for 200l., to be levied etc. in Kent.

Elizabeth who was wife of John Baudewyn of Bukinghamshire to John Shalyngforde citizen and draper of London. Recognisance for 20l., to be levied etc. in Bukinghamshire.
Defeasance thereof, upon condition that she pay 10l. at the day named or within the quinzaine thereof.

Coventry.
To the abbot and convent of Selby. Order to take again letters patent concerning a maintenance which Thomas de Brounflet the king's serjeant has in that abbey by command of the king, if he will give them up, to admit Robert Calle to their house, and grant him for life the said maintenance, making and delivering to him letters patent under the seal of the house, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as the said serjeant is minded that the said Robert shall have his estate therein, praying the king's assent. Memorandum that, with his assent and assent of the attorneys of John bishop of Durham, Nicius Burnell a Lumbard had a day until the octaves of St. John Baptist, when he appeared in chancery in person, as by his mainprise he was bound to do, and with like assent he has a day at the morrow of All Souls next; also of a mainprise made in chancery on 3 July this year by Angelus Christofori, Bartholomew Bosane, John Pontadour and Albrandus Gascoigne of Luka under a pain of 1,000l., and by Gauter Barde of Florence under a pain of 200l., to have the said Nicius before the king in chancery on the aforesaid day, ready to answer the bishop and John lord Neville in a cause pending at their suit concerning Francis Vyncheguerre, and of a bond of the first four mainpernors in 300l. to content the plaintiffs for him of that or a less sum in case he shall be adjudged to pay it for the said Francis, and under a pain of 1,000l. to give up his body to prison for the surplus, or content the plaintiffs of it, in case he shall be adjudged to pay a greater sum, the said pains to be levied of their lands and chattels in the city of London.
Also of a mainprise under a pain of 1,000l. made in chancery at Westminster on 12 July following by Anthony Thomas merchant of Florence and Gilbert Aymerike merchants (sic) of Luka in the same form as that made by the first four mainpernors.
