Woodstock.
To the sheriff of Hertford. Order to set free Adam Gernoun, who is in prison in the sheriff's custody it is said, if he shall find mainpernors who, under a pain for which the sheriff will answer, will mainpern to have him before the guardians of the peace and justices of oyer and terminer in Hertfordshire at their next session in order to answer the king concerning certain articles whereof he is impeached, and that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to John Henxteworth or Andrew Thorp, provided those articles amount not to a felony; and order to certify in chancery the security so taken, sending again this writ.
