1465. Kal. April. (1 April.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 70d.)	To the abbot of Holy Trinity, Ballintober (sancte Trinitatisville fontis sancti Patricii), in the diocese of Tuam alias Mayo (Maiorien., recte Maionen.), the provost of Tuam, and Nigel Odubda, canon of Killala (Aladen.). Mandate to make provision to Maurice Yeulenan, a poor priest, of the diocese of Tuam alias Mayo (Maiorien.), who is at the apostolic see, if he do not hold any benefice already, of a benefice wont to be assigned to secular clerks, provided that it be not in a cathedral church, with or without cure, value not exceeding 30 or 25 marks sterling accordingly, in the collation or provision of the archbishop of Tuam, if there be one at present void in the city or diocese of Tuam, where the said priest alleges that he has chosen his dwelling-place (perpetuam mansionem), or when such a benefice shall become void. Dilecti filii Mauricii Yculenan pauperis presbyteri Tuamensis alias Maioriensis diocesis apud sedem apostolicam constituti [supplicacionibus inclinati, etc., as on f. 5, where a similar mandate of provision to a poor priest is registered in full]. Ibid. (f. 72.)	To the bishop of Silva, the abbot of St. Columba's [Iona], O.S.B., in the diocese of Sodor, and the archdeacon of Lismore. A like mandate on behalf of Odo Olorken, a poor priest, of the diocese of Clonfert, who is at the apostolic see, for a benefice as above, value not exceeding 20l. sterling if with cure, or 15 if without, in the collation or provision of the bishop of Lismore alias Argyle, if etc., as above, mutatis mutandis. The like on behalf of Maurus Ychallanayn, a poor priest, of the diocese of Annaghdown, who is at the apostolic see, and who has been dispensed by papal authority on account of illegitimacy, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure; for a benefice as above, value not exceeding 30 marks sterling if with cure, or 25 if without, in the collation or provision of the bishop of Annaghdown, if etc. as above, mutatis mutandis. The like on behalf of David Swintun, a poor clerk, of the diocese of Brechin (Brechinen.), (fn. 3) who is at the apostolic see, for a benefice as above, value not exceeding 20 marks of silver if with cure, or 15 if without, in the collation or provision of the dean and chapter of the church of St. Anscharius's, Bremen (Bremen.), if etc., as above, mutatis mutandis.
