De Prebendis Vacantibus



1401. 8 Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 4.)	To John Bremore, B.C.L. Collation and provision, motu proprio, of the canonry and prebend of Sydlysham alias Sydlyngham in Chichester, value not exceeding 70 marks, void and reserved to the apostolic see by the death there of John Doneys. The pope, also motu proprio, declares that his intention has been and is to make the said grant this day to him alone and to none other; and if on the present or any other day he has made, ordered or granted provision of the same to other or others, such provisions, grants and mandates, even if full and verbatim mention be made therein of these presents and of John's name, are annulled. Litterarum sciencia, vite ac morum.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishops of Concordia and Tuy, and the abbot of Westminster. Litterarum etc. (De mandato.)

1403. 4 Kal. June. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 115.)	To Adam Usk, papal chaplain and auditor. Mandate to collate and assign a benefice, named, in the diocese of Mainz, the cause about which was committed to him by the present pope. Vite ac morum.

6 Kal. Nov. St Peter's, Rome. (f. 189.)	To the bishop of Lichfield. Mandate to dispense to marry Henry Hoghton, knight, nobleman, and Joan Radeclyf, damsel, noblewoman, of the dioceses of York and Lincoln, notwithstanding that they are distant from a common stock (sapite) on one side in the second and on the other in the third degree of kindred, that Henry has committed incest more than once with Joan, and that he has committed fornication with a woman related to Joan in the third degree of kindred. Oblate nobis.
