Substitution of Thomas de Ippegrave, king's serjeant, for Michael de Weston, king's serjeant, as keeper, during pleasure, of certain grain of divers rectors of churches in the parts of the marches [of Wales], touching which there was a contention between Th[omas] bishop of Hereford, and A[nian] bishop of St. Asaph, as to their jurisdiction over the said rectors.

Notification, on testimony before the king, that the part of the left ear which Robert le Calewe has lost was accidentally cut off by Baldwin de Roseye, parson of the church of All Saints, Rokelund, in a contention between them.

Presentation of John la Ware to the church of Sutton Maundevill in the diocese of Salisbury, in the king's gift by reason of his eustody of the land and heirs of John de Maundevill, tenant in chief.

Mandate to Robert de Gipwyco to attend, until further order, to the custody of writs and of the roll of the justices in eyre in the county of Cumberland and in other eyres, committed to him by R. bishop of Bath and Wells, the chancellor, by virtue of his office of the Chancery.

The like to John de Lusteshull to the custody of the writs and roll of the justices in eyre in the county of Hertford.

Protection with clause volumus, until Midsummer, for John de Grey and John de Pabeham, going to Santiago.

Safe-conduct, until a fortnight after Midsummer, for the said John de Grey.

Protection with clause [volumus], for one year, for Matilda de Lacy.

Mandate to Orlandinus de Podio and his fellows, merchants of Lucca, to cause to be paid out of the king's money or their own to Roger de Norworde, John de Cobeham and Philip de Wileby, barons of the Exchequer, 60 marks, to wit, 20 marks to each of them for his fee for the present year.

Protection with clause volumus, for two years, for Geoffrey Brun, going to Ireland.

Simple protection, for two years, for the good men of Drogheda.

Presentation of Master Stephen de Sancto Georgio to the church of Stanewell in the diocese of London, in the king's gift by reason of his custody of the lands and heirs of William de Wyndesore.

Licence for John de Nevill, after inquisition ad quod damnum taken by Roger de Clifford, justice of the forest this side Trent, to enclose his wood of Cornigehal, which is contiguous to his park of Hallingebiry, for the enlargement thereof.

Letters for the prior of Bath, nominating John de Cumbe and Adam Harding his attorneys in Ireland for three years.

Licence for Otto de Grandisono to demise to farm to Geoffrey Lowys certain lands and tenements late of Walter de Burgo in Kilkosny.

Appointment of the provost and confraternity of St. Edward, Acre, and their successors, to the custody, during pleasure, of the tower which the king caused to be built there.

Writ de intendendo directed to the knights, freemen and others of the islands of Gernese and Gerese for Otto de Bono Villar[io], Master William de Sancto Remigio and Philip le Eveske, appointed as justices to hold assises and all other pleas this turn within those islands.

Protection with clause volumus, for one year, for Ralph Pypard and Sibyl his wife, commorant in Ireland on the king's service.

Pardon, at the instance of Eleanor, the king's consort, to Robert le Wastur for the death of John le Hauer.
