Passes, Notes of Passed, Post Warrants and Licences of Absence.

These are gathered together by months, but it has not been thought needful to set them out in strict chronological order; which is not followed in the original Entry Books. The full passes are signed (by Nottingham in Entry Book 389, by Manchester or Hedges in Entry Book 387), but the brief notes of passes are not signed. In the case of passes, or notes thereof, the words "pass for" are not repeated: but post warrants are expressly noted as such. The licences of absence are gathered together at the end of the year.
