Admiral. The Warrants for issuing Letters of Marque and Commissions to take Pirates will be found at p. 285, thrown together
in a tabular form; such of the Letters and Papers as fall within
the period comprehended within the present Volume are introduced
in their chronological places; and the following are those which
are of earlier dates in the reign of Charles I.] |
