February 1634

Feb. Book of Acts of the Court of High Commission for the exercise of Ecclesiastical jurisdiction; an original minute book of their proceedings entered by a registrar every sitting day. During this month of February the following were the days of sitting, and the names of the defendants whose cases were dealt with. We have added, also, a brief note of the nature of the proceeding recorded in every particular case. Many of the entries relate to formal and intermediate matters, but when followed out they generally disclose the real nature of the cause.
