4. Filippo Maria Visconti, Duke of Milan, to Henry VI, King of England.
Request for the release of Niccolo de Nigris and Antonio Cigala, citizens of Genoa, arrested when returning across his Majesty's territory from Spain by Bertram de Domezaque, the king's captain and governor there, who refused to let them go, alleging that there is war between the king and Genoa and that is why he arrested them, whereas peace and friendship flourish between his Majesty and Genoa, which the duke desires to maintain.

Request for his good offices with the king for the release of the said Niccolo de Nigris and Antonio Cigalla.
The like, mutatis mutandis, to Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester, Protector of the King of England and to our merchants of Genoa dwelling in London.
