In reply to her two letters from Edinburgh of [ ] and 9th instant, the latter with Lord Maxwell's complaint against Lord Conyers for refusing "to ryde upon the Debatable on theleventh of this moneth," justifying Conyers and blaming Maxwell. Approving of her Majesty's speech with the Council of Scotland for redress of other things amiss on the Borders.
